Cookie Policy

How we use cookies and similar technologies on our platform.

Last updated: April 1, 2026

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device on subsequent visits and store certain information about your preferences or actions. Similar technologies include pixel tags, web beacons, and local storage objects, which we collectively refer to as "cookies" in this policy.

2. Why We Use Cookies

  • To operate our Platform and ensure it functions correctly across sessions.
  • To remember your login status so you do not need to sign in on every visit.
  • To remember your preferences such as language and currency settings.
  • To analyse how users interact with our Platform and improve our services.
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
  • To deliver relevant advertising based on your interests.
  • To measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

3. Types of Cookies We Use

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies: Essential for the Platform to function. These cannot be disabled as they include session management, authentication tokens, and security cookies.
  • Functional Cookies: Allow us to remember your preferences (e.g. language, region) and provide enhanced features. Disabling these may affect Platform functionality.
  • Performance & Analytics Cookies: Collect anonymous data on how visitors use our Platform, such as pages visited and errors encountered. We use this data to improve the Platform.
  • Targeting & Advertising Cookies: Track your browsing to build a profile of your interests and show relevant adverts on our Platform and third-party sites.
  • Social Media Cookies: Set by social media services (e.g. Facebook, Twitter) to enable sharing and track visits from those platforms.

4. Third-Party Cookies

  • Google Analytics: measures website traffic and user behaviour.
  • Google Ads / DoubleClick: enables interest-based advertising.
  • Facebook Pixel: tracks conversions from Facebook ads.
  • Stripe: fraud detection and payment security.
  • Hotjar: heatmaps and session recordings to improve UX.
  • These third parties may have their own privacy and cookie policies which we encourage you to review.

5. Cookie Durations

  • Session cookies: temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser.
  • Persistent cookies: remain on your device for a set period (typically 30 days to 2 years) or until you delete them.
  • Authentication cookies: last for 30 days if you select "Remember me", otherwise expire at session end.
  • Analytics cookies: typically persist for up to 24 months.
  • Advertising cookies: typically persist for up to 12 months.

6. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

  • Browser settings: most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies via their settings menus.
  • Our Cookie Consent Manager: use the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer to update your preferences at any time.
  • Opt-out tools: for advertising cookies, you can opt out via the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) or the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org).
  • Google Analytics opt-out: install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
  • Note: disabling certain cookies may impact the functionality of our Platform.

7. Do Not Track

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") feature that signals your preference not to be tracked. Our Platform currently does not respond to DNT signals, but you can manage your preferences using the methods described in Section 6 above.

8. Consent

When you first visit our Platform, we will ask for your consent to use non-essential cookies via our cookie banner. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time through the Cookie Settings link. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent as they are essential for the Platform to operate.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our services or applicable laws change. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via email or a banner on the Platform.
